• Perform prostate tissue resection using the monopolar loop electrode under direct visualization.
• Remove tissue chips using the Ellik evacuator or Toomey syringe to keep the field clear.
• Insert a 3-way Foley catheter after the procedure for drainage and bladder irrigation.
• Connect to a urine bag or urometer to monitor urine output post-surgery.
• After completion, place all reusable instruments in the sterilization tray for cleaning and sterilization.
